Eastdawn Corporation (EDC) is an international geospatial data production and remote sensing company, with headquarters in Beijing, China. EDC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Eastdawn Group Inc., (EDG), which is funded by international investors. In terms of sales revenue, it is one of the largest privately owned geospatial data production companies in China, (2007).

EDC is registered as a WOFE (Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise) in China and has a Data Production Center in Beijing with a capacity of 420 operators and managers.  EDC’s data production staff have been trained by top Japanese aerial surveying companies for the last 5 years and EDC has established a reputation in the Japanese market for well managed precision accuracy, well controlled data security and punctual delivery of products. 

To meet growing data production demand from North America, Europe and Japan, EDC is increasing its data production capacity by three times that of 2007 by adding 920 operators and managers by the middle of 2008.EDC is also expanding its data production capacity for LIDAR by establishing a LIDAR Data Center in January, 2008 and will start full capacity operation from April, 2008 to meet with the growing international demand for LIDAR data production.
